The 14th International Conference on Frontiers of Information Technology, Applications and Tools (FITAT 2021), The 17th International Conference on Intelligent Information Hiding and Multimedia Signal Processing (IIHMSP 2021), are technically co-sponsored by Shu-Te University in Taiwan, Shandong University of Science and Technology in China, Northeast Electric Power University in China, Chungbuk National University in South Korea, and National University of Mongolia in Mongolia. 

IIHMSP/FITAT 2021 are annual events serving as international forums for researchers and practitioners to exchange latest research outcomes in the field of Information Technology (IT) including but not limited to information hiding, multimedia signal processing, big data, data mining, bioinformatics, database, industrial and internet of things, and their applications. Multimedia technologies facilitate the creation of global information infrastructure for acquiring, storing, communicating data with different forms. Proliferation of multimedia applications raises challenges such as multimedia security and privacy, big data in multimedia, and intelligence in multimedia processing. All of the papers included in the conference proceedings will be published in the book series of Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies by Springer. Normally, papers in this series are indexed by EI and Scopus.
