Transportation to the Venue (Chungbuk National University, Cheongju)

1) Incheon International Airport (ICN) → Cheongju Intercity Bus Terminal (청주시외버스터미널, 가경동)

The most convenient option is the direct airport intercity/limousine bus from ICN to Cheongju. Travel time is typically about 2:00–2:25 depending on terminal and traffic.

  • Where to buy tickets (ICN):
    • Terminal 1: Bus ticket booths are located inside the terminal (near Exits 4 and 9) and also outside near several exits.
    • Terminal 2: Bus ticketing and information are available at the B1 Bus Terminal in the Transportation Center.
  • How to board: Follow airport signs for Bus / Intercity Bus, purchase a ticket to Cheongju (청주), and board at the platform shown on your ticket.
  • Typical fare (one-way): About KRW 23,800 (Deluxe), with some Premium/Night services higher.
  • Typical first/last departures: Early morning to late evening (varies by terminal/day; please re-check close to travel).
  • Booking/seat reservation: Seats may sell out during peak hours. Online reservation is recommended when available.

2) Cheongju Intercity Bus Terminal → Chungbuk National University (CBNU, 충북대학교)

CBNU is close to the terminal area. You can reach the campus by taxi or city bus.

Option A: Taxi (Recommended with luggage)
  • Where: Taxi stand is in front of the terminal.
  • Time: About 10–15 minutes (traffic dependent).
  • Estimated fare: About KRW 4,000–5,000.
  • Say to the driver: “충북대학교 정문 (Chungbuk National University Main Gate), please.”

Option B: City Bus (Budget-friendly)
  • Boarding: Take the city bus from the stop in front of the terminal (terminal-area stops include “고속·시외버스터미널/시외버스터미널”).

    • #823 (stops include: “시외버스터미널” → “충북대학교정문/충북대학교입구/충북대학교후문”)
