Visa

International participants traveling to South Korea may need either a visa or a K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization), depending on nationality and travel purpose. Please check the latest requirements before booking flights.

K-ETA (Korea Electronic Travel Authorization)

  • K-ETA is required for many visa-free visitors prior to boarding a flight/ship to Korea.
  • Fee: KRW 10,000 (about USD 7–8, may vary by exchange rate).
  • Apply only on the official K-ETA website or the official mobile app (beware of unofficial agency/phishing sites).

If You Need a Visa

If your nationality or travel purpose requires a visa, please consult the official visa information portal and/or your nearest Korean embassy/consulate.
