๐ป๐ณ Visa Information for Conference Attendees
Welcome to the FITAT 2025! If you're planning to travel to Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, please read the following important information regarding visa requirements and how to apply.
โ๏ธ Who Needs a Visa?
Most international visitors require a visa to enter Vietnam. However, some countries are exempt for short stays (typically 14โ45 days, depending on nationality).
Visa-free entry (as of early 2025) is granted to citizens of:
- ASEAN countries (14โ30 days)
- South Korea, Japan, Russia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain (15โ45 days)

๐ How to Apply for a Visa
There are three common ways to apply:
1. E-Visa (Recommended)
- Available to citizens of over 80 countries
- Valid for single or multiple entry, up to 90 days
- Apply online at the official website: https://evisa.gov.vn/
- Processing time: 3โ5 working days
- Fee: Around 25โ50 USD (non-refundable)
2. Visa on Arrival (VOA)
- Only available if you enter Vietnam by air
- Requires a pre-approval letter from a Vietnamese agency
- Recommended only if you cannot use the e-visa system
- Contact the organizers if you need support
3. Apply at a Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate
- Apply in person or by mail
- Documents required may vary (passport, photos, invitation letter)
- Contact your nearest Vietnamese embassy for exact requirements

- A passport valid for at least 6 months from date of entry
- A digital passport photo (white background, no glasses)
- Conference invitation letter (we can provide this upon request)
- Travel itinerary or flight bookings (optional)
